Despite delay over deluge, Kuwaitis go camping en masse

(Photo feature by Ahmad Sorour) KUWAIT, Dec 13 (KUNA) -- Emerging from scorching summer and recently unprecedented heavy rains, Kuwaiti people are wasting no time in setting up spring camps, enjoying nice weather with families and friends.
Fed up with daily routine, Kuwaitis yearn for spending weekend at campsites by having fun, eating traditional meals and setting around campfires and swapping stories.
However, they shrug off a recent decision by the Kuwaiti Municipality putting the camping season on the back burner following the recent bad weather conditions involving deluge, lightning and thunderstorms. (end) asa.am.mt
