Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior (retired Lieutenant General) Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah meets the Under-Secretary-General of the UN Counter-Terrorism Office Vladimir Ivanovich and his accompanying delegation
KUWAIT, Dec 12 (KUNA) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior (retired Lieutenant General) Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Office Vladimir Ivanovich and his accompanying delegation, discussed issues of mutual concern on Wednesday.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Interior Affairs, minister Al-Jarrah noted, during the meeting, continuous cooperation between the ministry and the office in sharing experience and information.
On his part, Ivanovich hailed Kuwait's efforts in fighting terrorism, it said, adding that the two sides in their discussions focused on the need to boost coordination and develop regional and international relations in order to counter terrorism. (end)
