Strasbourg shooter wounded, surrounded by security forces - media

PARIS, Dec 11 (KUNA) -- The lone shooter who killed two people and wounded 12 others in Strasbourg Tuesday evening has been wounded and is staked out by security forces not far from where he committed his attack, media sources said.
"France 3" Television said that a military patrol had shot and wounded the shooter after his attack and had tracked him to a hideout which has now been surrounded by police and army forces who have exchanged fire with the fugitive.
Prefecture sources also reported that many of the wounded civilians, who were visiting the Christmas Market, were in grave and life-threatening condition.
Much of the centre of Strasbourg has been placed under lockdown pending the capture or neutralisation of the gunman. (pick up previous) jk.ibi
