Second underground tunnel discovered on Lebanon's borders -- UNIFIL

NAQUORA, South Lebanon, Dec 11 (KUNA) -- The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said on Tuesday that a second underground tunnel was located across the southern border line.
UNIFIL Major General Stefano Del Col informed President Michel Aoun that he, along with a team from the peace-keeping force, inspected a location near the border town of Al-Mutallah where a new tunnel was found, according to a statement released by the international peace-keeping force.
UNIFIL had previously confirmed that an underground tunnel was uncovered across the border.
The force confirmed that it would continue informing the Lebanese authorities about any more discoveries of such tunnels.
Israel has been digging in locations on the border line in search for underground tunnels.
