KUWAIT, Nov 24 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah congratulated Bahrain on the success of its parliamentary and municipal elections, which witnessed unprecedented voting numbers on Saturday.
In a cable addressed to Bahrain's King Hamad bin Issa Al-Khalifa, he commended the process, which occurred under a "democratic and transparent" atmosphere.
"During this unprecedented turnout, the people of Bahrain expressed their faith and adherence to their democratic values in order to best serve their country, and achieve its ultimate interests," he said. (end)
