Updating casualty of Spain train accident

MADRID, Nov 20 (KUNA) -- One person died and at least 44 others were injured when a landslide caused a commuter train heading toward Barcelona to derail on Tuesday, according to Spain's television.
Rescuers have removed all passengers who were tangled in the train wreckage, shortly after the accident took place at 06:15 a.m. (05:15 GMT) near Cacarisses, some 45 kilometers northwest of Barcelona.
Four carriers veered off the track of the train, who was speeding with up to 131 passengers on board.
Spanish railway spokesman Antonio Carmona told local media that heavy rain in the area over the past few days could have caused the landslide. (end) hnd.rk
