SHANGHAI, Nov 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ambassador to China Samih Johar Hayat affirmed on Tuesday that bilateral relations between Kuwait and China are witnessing a remarkable stage of cooperation and well established.
This came in a statement to KUNA after the arrival of Kuwait's economic delegation led by the Finance Minister Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf to Shanghai to sponsor the opening of the first China-Kuwait investment forum on Thursday.
Hayat stressed the importance of holding such meetings periodically, as the investment forum is one of the most important meetings and the largest economic gathering between the countries.
He added that Kuwait and China signed on Monday a memorandum of understanding forming a mechanism for development of cooperation for Silk City and the five Kuwaiti islands. (end) km.gaa
