Arab League assures desire to publicize Israeli practices

CAIRO, Nov 19 (KUNA) -- The Arab League confirmed on Monday that it pursue efforts in unveiling the Israeli practices to the world and make them accountable for the crimes they committed.
A statement by the Arab League said that this came during the meeting between the Secretary-General Ahmad Abul-Gheit and Chairman of the Palestinian Detainees Affairs Commission Major General Qadri Abu Baker.
Abul-Gheit assured that the detainees case is of utmost importance to the League and him personally, especially when violations are increasing by the Israeli authorities.
He also stressed his confidence that these violations will not discourage the Palestinians and break their strong will in facing the occupation and achieve an independent state.
There are constant communications with the Palestinian authorities on global efforts to hold those responsible the violations accountable and guarantee they never to be repeated.
These illegal practices are a direct violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention and the norm of the international human rights and humanitarian law said the Palestinian official. (end) mfm.aff.aq
