Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarallah meets with Alice Walpole, the Deputy Special Representative for Political Affairs and Electoral Assistance of the (UNAMI)
KUWAIT, Nov 8 (KUNA) -- Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarallah met on Thursday US Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, Lawrence Silverman, discussing bilateral relations, regional and international issues.
The deputy foreign minister, later, met Alice Walpole, the Deputy Special Representative for Political Affairs and Electoral Assistance of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI).
The two sides discussed UNAMIS' efforts to aid Iraq in the search for missing Kuwaitis. He urged during the meeting for intensifying the efforts to "finish this file."
The meeting was attended by Plenipotentiary Minister Nasser Abdullah Al-Hain, the assistant foreign minister to international organizations' affairs, and Counsellor Talal Abdulsalam Al-Shatii, the deputy assistant of the foreign minister for deputy minister bureau affairs. (end)
