Oman to develop Sultan Qaboos Port's seafront with USD two bln

MUSCAT, Nov 6 (KUNA) -- Oman Minister of Trade and Industry Ali Al-Sunaidi said Tuesday development of Sultan Qaboos Port's Seafront, in Matrah, would require USD two billion in investment.
This is part of the development of Sultan Qaboos Port, he said in a statement, and the seafront would include hotels, restaurants, housing units, shops and play grounds.
The first phase of the project, added Al-Sunaidi, aimed at establishing the infrastructure, increasing capacity of nearby roads as well as placing the framework of contributions of small and medium-size companies. (end) me.bs
