KUWAIT, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Plane Spotters Team is considered the first of its kind within the Gulf region, with the aim to shed more light on the field by participating in international aviation fairs.
President of the team Adawiya Al-Abduljaleel told KUNA on Tuesday that the voluntary group was established in 2016 and includes six photographers.
She explained that their main goal is to spread the culture of aviation through their lenses; by taking photos of everything that is related to airplanes.
She added that the team had the approval of the Chairman of Civil Aviation Authority Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah to permanently display their photos at the transit hall of Kuwait International Airport.
Al-Abduljaleel noted that the team took part in several aviation exhibitions in Kuwait, Dubai and Bahrain. (end) wr.gaa
