Kuwaiti, French chiefs of defense staff discuss cooperation

KUWAIT, Oct 22 (KUNA) -- Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army Lt.-Gen. Mohammad Al-Khodhr met in Paris on Monday with his French counterpart Gen. Francois Lecointre to discuss defense cooperation.
The meeting explored ways to draw on the French experience while developing the military simulation center of the Kuwaiti army, according to a statement by the department of moral guidance and public relations of the Kuwaiti Defense Ministry. Lt.-Gen. Al-Khodhr, leading a military delegation, visited the military simulation center of France where they were briefed on the role of the center in refining the military strategies on operational, training and professional levels.
They were accompanied by Kuwait Ambassador to France Samie Al-Sulaiman, according to the statement. (end) am.gb
