KUALA LAMPUR, Oct 22 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh was paying an official visit to Laos from 22 to 23 October to discuss various issues of common interest between the two countries.
Charge d'Affaires of Kuwait's Embassy to the Republic of Laos Adel Al-Amir said to KUNA over phone Monday that Minister Al-Sabeeh will hold meetings with the Lao officials to discuss issues related to employment, social welfare, planning and investment.
Al-Amir noted that the minister will hold meetings tomorrow with Lao Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Kham Pheng Sysompheng, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Lami Khamavu Ernathavaneh and Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Lausi Khamilin Pholsena.
He pointed out that a preparatory meeting had been held with the Director General of the Department of Planning and International Cooperation in Laos Yangku Yanglisi to coordinate the schedule of Minister Al-Sabeeh's visit and discuss some issues related to the workforce. (end)
