Kuwait territorial waters not affected by oil spill - EPA

KUWAIT, Oct 22 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Environment Public Authority (EPA) said on Monday that Kuwait territorial waters have not been affected by the oil spill that was monitored by satellite in the Iraqi and north Iranian waters.
EPA began coordination with Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) to monitor satellite pictures and Marine Emergency Mutual Aid Center (MEMAC) to follow up the situation in order to take all necessary measurements. (end) zak.bb
