KUWAIT, Oct 21 (KUNA) -- Deputy Director of the Office of Monitoring and Control of Human Trafficking at the US Department of State Joel Mayberry appreciated on Sunday the work of Kuwait's General Authority for Manpower.
Mayberry praised the Authority's cooperation with foreigners with problems related to their accommodation and sponsors.
He also appreciated Kuwait's role in having such authority to deal with these kinds of problems.
Mayberry, after visiting the Authority, said that the cooperation between Kuwait and the United States had always been active in regards to human trafficking, pointing at the same time to mutual keenness to continue coordination.
On her part, Head of Public Relations and Media Department Aseel Al-Mazyad said briefed the US delegation with a number of awareness campaigns launched by the Authority in the field of electronic services through its website.
Al-Mazyad indicated that many decisions have been made to limit 'masked' labor, as well as having a plan to deal with such problem in the future. (end)
