WASHINGTON, Oct 17 (KUNA) -- Marq Perez, 26 was sentenced to more than 24 years in prison for burning down the Victoria Islamic Center in Texas in January 2017, according to the Department of Justice on Wednesday.
In July Perez was found guilty for "a hate crime" and for "use of a fire to commit a felony." In addition, they found he possessed an "unregistered destructive device" for an incident that also occurred in January 2017. (end)
