Three Palestinians wounded by Israeli shelling on Gaza

RAMALLAH, Oct 17 (KUNA) -- Three Palestinians were wounded Wednesday in an Israeli strike on the southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah, Palestinian health ministry spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra said.
In a press release, Al-Qudra added that the three were moderately wounded.
According to local media in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli air force carried out several targets on the northern Gaza Strip without causing casualties.
Israeli occupation planes shelled an empty area east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, causing no injuries, they said.
In a related context, Israeli media claimed that the shelling came in response to the firing of two rockets from the Gaza Strip, one of which fell in the Beersheba area.
They said the shelling from Gaza wounded six settlers, two of them with bruises and four in panic.(end).
