Pro-Yemen Arab coalition restores stability in liberated areas - spokesman

JEDDAH, Oct 16 (KUNA) -- Arab coalition supporting legitimate government in Yemen said Tuesday operation restoration of hope aimed at restoring stability to Yemeni governorates following their liberation.
Operations under restoration of hope include tackling smuggling of weapons and drugs, as well as providing training and arms to local troops, coalition spokesman Colonel Turki Al-Malki told a news conference.
The coalition, he added, delivered 30 vehicles for the security forces in Al-Muhra governorate, to be added to 60 vehicles already delivered.
The coalition, he noted, provided books and materials for Yemeni children in Ma'reb, Jouf and Aden.
Al-Malki said coalition forces were providing humanitarian aid for those affected by a hurricane, removed more than 2,020 mines in liberated areas.
Al-Malki meanwhile said Iranian-backed Houthis fired 205 ballistic missiles at Saudi Arabia since March 2015. (end) nso.bs
