The Chairman of Bahrian's Shura Council Ali Al-Saleh with Kuwait's ambassador to Manama, Sheikh Azzam Al-Sabah
MANAMA, Oct 10 (KUNA) -- A Bahraini official on Wednesday commended the efforts of Kuwait and its leader His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to support development in the Gulf island nation.
As he met with Kuwait's ambassador to Manama, Sheikh Azzam Al-Sabah, the Chairman of Bahrian's Shura Council Ali Al-Saleh spoke highly of the amity shared between the two Gulf neighbors, read a statement by the Kuwaiti embassy.
Kuwait has long enjoyed a tightly knit and multi-dimensional relationship with Bahrain that continues to grow closer, the statement highlighted.
The Kuwaiti diplomat echoed the Bahriani official's sentiments, describing bilateral ties as historic and enduring. (end)
