His Highness the Amir receieves senior officials, diplomats

KUWAIT, Oct 9 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Tuesday at Bayan Palace His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
His highness separately received the Acting Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah His Highness also received credentials of Canada's Ambassador to Kuwait Louis Pierre Emond, Russia's Ambassador Nikolai Makarov, Bosnia and Herzegovina's Ambassador, Sanjin Halimovic and Croatia's Ambassador Amir Muharemi.
His Highness later received the Acting Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, escorting newly-appointed Kuwaiti diplomats.
The envoys are as follows: Ambassador Hassan Zaman (Japan); Ambassador Ebdah Al-Dousari (consul general in Basra, Iraq); Salah Al-Seif (consul general in Hong Kong and Macau, China); Mohammad Al-Mutairi (Ambassador to Mongolia); Abdullah Al-Yehaya (Ambassador to Argentina); Khalifa Al-Kharafi (consul general in Guangzhou, China); and Hamad Al-Hazeem (consul general in New York, US).
His Highness wished them all success in their new posts and urged them to attend to the safety and well-being of Kuwaitis abroad, strengthen Kuwait's bilateral ties with those countries and to represent Kuwait the best way possible.
On their part, the newly-appointed diplomats expressed their gratitude to His Highness's guidance and wise instructions.
