Kuwaiti Municipality's Director General Ahmad Al-Manfouhi speaks after the meeting with His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah
KUWAIT, Oct 2 (KUNA) -- Officials from Kuwait's Public Authority for Industry (PAI) said on Tuesday that they are proud to have been given the chance to meet His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
"We are honored to have met His Highness the Amir to inform him of upcoming industrial projects we have in store," the Kuwaiti Municipality's Director General Ahmad Al-Manfouhi said.
With such projects, he added, Kuwait appears to be on the cusp of an industrial boom, which will put the country directly on the path towards development and prosperity.
PAI's Director General Abdulkarim Taqi said that the plots of land specialized for the industrial sector has risen by 50 percent, with 2,135 industrial units in the country.
He added that such industrial progress pushes Kuwait closer to achieving its development goals. (end)
