IRBIL Sept 30 (KUNA) -- Higher electoral commission in Iraq's Kurdistan said turout of Sunday's general elections was 57.58 percent, and noted voting was smooth.
Aram Najmuddine, director of the commission, told a news conference said the commission would announce the results in 72 hours following end of the voting.
Observors said the Democratic Union of Kurdistan of Masoud Barzani would win majority of seats. (pickup previous)
