KUWAIT, Sept 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah Monday commended Bangladesh for hosting huge numbers of Rohingya Muslim minority.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, at a working lunch called by British and French Foreign Minister Jeremy Hunt and Jean-Yven Le Drian respectively to discuss plight of Rohingya, voiced regret over the ordeal of the Rohingya people who were experiencing difficult health and living conditions.
He called for providing protection for the Rohingya and delivering aid for people in all areas in Myanmar.
The working lunch, held on sidelines of the UN General Assembly Session, aimed at reviewing international efforts to alleviate suffering of the Rohingya towards solving their problem. (end) bs
