UAE, Bahrain leaders discusses bilateral ties in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, Sept 24 (KUNA) -- Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammad Al-Nahyan and Bahraini Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman Al-Khalifa discussed on Monday bilateral relations.
This came during the reception of Sheikh Mohammad at the Sea Palace in Abu Dhabi for Prince Salman, who is currently visiting the UAE, Emirates news agency (WAM) said in a statement.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammad stressed the keenness of the UAE to strengthen relations of cooperation with Bahrain to meet the aspirations of their peoples and achieve their common interests, the statement told.
For his part, Prince Salman affirmed the strength of historic brotherly relations and the keenness of the leadership of the two countries to continue to consolidate them, reflecting the depth of these strong ties, the statement noted.
Prince Salman praised the role of the UAE and its stands in support of security and stability at the regional and international levels. He also expressed his appreciation for the continuous support of the UAE and its honorable positions alongside Bahrain at various stages.
The two sides reviewed regional and international issues concern the two countries as well as the latest developments in the Middle East region and their implications for the security and stability of their peoples. (end) bsu.aa
