KUWAIT, Sept 23 (KUNA) -- Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Kuwait's non-resident Ambassador to Mali Mohammad Al-Failakawi took part recently in the inauguration ceremony of Ibrahim Boubacar Keita as the President of Mali for a second term, in addition to the country's 58th Independence anniversary celebrations.
The events took place in Bamako, Mali on Saturday in presence of President Keita, several world leaders, and senior officials, Kuwaiti embassy in Ghana said in a statement Sunday.
Al-Failakawi, also Kuwait's Ambassador to Ghana, conveyed congratulations and greetings of His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Crown Prince to the Malian President, wishing him and his people further progress and prosperity. (end) ma
