KUWAIT, Sept 19 (KUNA) -- Chairman of Kuwait Disabled Sports Club Shafi Al-Hajeri said on Wednesday Kuwait would partake in the Asian Para Games due in Jakarta, Indonesia, on October 4.
Twenty-two male and females champions will participate in the Asian games, Al-Hajeri said in a statement to KUNA on Wednesday, adding that they would take part in shooting, fencing, tennis table and field and track competitions.
Seventeen of the Kuwaiti athletes will compete in the field and track contests, two in fencing, an equal number in tennis table and a single one in shooting.
The athletes, except for the shooter Atef Al-Dosari, are currently training in Thailand.
Al-Dosari will take part in the world shooting championship, due in France in a few days. (end) fsa.rk
