KUWAIT, Aug 17 (KUNA) -- The 11th Kuwait's Super Cup football season (2018-2019) will start at Sabah Al-Salem stadium in Mansouriya area on Saturday.
Kuwait Club, which won Kuwait Premier League (Viva Premier League) and His Highness the Amir Cup, would play, in the opening match, against Qadisiya, champion of the Crown Prince Cup.
In tomorrow's match, Qadisiya Club is looking forward to win the title for the third time, while Kuwait's Club is seeking to grab the cup for the fourth time.
Players of the two teams have been involved in rigorous training, including summer camps and friendly matches, in preparation for the important encounter.
The two teams recently participated in the Arab Cup for Champions Clubs in the 32nd round. Al-Qadisiya tied with Egypt's Zamalek Club, each with a goal, while Kuwait Club lost against Ismaili 2-0.
The Kuwaiti Super Cup, which first kicked off in 2008, brings together winners of His Highness the Amir Cup and the Premier League. (end) fr.amh.nhq
