UAE, Yemen FM's discuss bilateral ties, developments in Yemen

ABU DHABI, July 24 (KUNA) -- The UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nahyan met on Tuesday with his counterpart from Yemen, Khaled Al-Yamani to discuss bilateral relations and the recent developments in Yemen.
The Emirate news agency WAM said Sheikh Abdullah welcomed Al-Yamani in Abu Dhabi, and discussed humanitarian and relief efforts to assist the Yemeni people and return stability to the country.
Sheikh Abdullah renewed the UAE's firm stance towards Yemen and its people, and its support for legitimacy and the UN's efforts to restore stability to Yemen, as well as guaranteeting the humanitarian assistance reach the Yemeni people.
Al-Yamani praised the leading efforts made by the UAE to restore stability and security to all parts of the Yemeni lands and its prominent role within the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia. (end) bsu.aq
