CAIRO, July 21 (KUNA) -- The vast majority of the global community believes in the righteousness of the Palestinian cause, said Kuwaiti Speaker of the National Assembly Marzouq Al-Ghanim Saturday.
Speaking to KUNA after the conclusion of the 28th extraordinary session of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, Al-Ghanim said that the meeting was held upon a request by the Kuwaiti parliament in a clear act of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The session reflected a strong Arab stance against Israel's inhumane actions, indicated Speaker Al-Ghanim who stressed that it was important for the international community to hold the Israelis accountable for the violations committed against the Palestinians.
Al-Ghanim thanked all those who participated in the meeting, hoping that the message, which was sent to the world was clear and direct.
The Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union's session was held in reaction to the recent Israeli Knesset's 'Jewish nation-state' legislation. (pickup previous) ms.gta
