Wind gusts, dust to subside tonight - Kuwaiti forecaster

KUWAIT, July 21 (KUNA) -- Intense wind speeds will gradually begin to fizzle out followed by a reduction in dust particles starting this evening, the meteorological center said on Saturday.
Kuwait is currently affected by the Indian monsoon season, which brings with it hot temperatures and wind speeds exceeding 70 kilometers per hour, weather forecaster Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi explained.
He added that powerful northwesterly winds usually reduce visibility in open areas, leading to a seven-foot rise in sea levels. (end) mf.nam
