Trump making plans for Putin's visit to Washington this fall

WASHINGTON, July 19 (KUNA) -- Plans are under way for Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit Washington and meet with President Donald Trump in the fall, following up on their summit this week in Helsinki, the White House said Thursday.
The meeting aims to continue "an ongoing working-level dialogue between the two security council staffs," White House press secretary Sarah Sanders announced.
Trump asked White House national security adviser John Bolton to extend the invitation, Sanders said.
Earlier Thursday, Trump said he looked forward to another meeting with Putin "so that we can start implementing some of the many things discussed, including stopping terrorism, security for Israel, nuclear proliferation, cyber attacks, trade, Ukraine, Middle East peace, North Korea and more."
