NAFTA talks could resume shortly - US Commerce Sec.

WASHINGTON, July 19 (KUNA) -- The US expects talks on the North American Free Trade agreement to resume shortly, US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said Thursday on CNBC.
Mexico's President-elect Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador "has changed his rhetoric quite considerably and has made it very clear that he likes the idea of redoing NAFTA," Ross said.
Obrador has a group that is working with the current Mexican government on NAFTA which Ross said "we think those will get going quite quickly." (end) ak.mt
