RAMALLAH, July 17 (KUNA) -- A young 20-year-old Palestinian man named Sari Shoubaki was severely injured which resulted in his death during protests at borders of Gaza Strip, according to the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.
The young man succumbed to his wounds after receiving treatment at St. Joseph Hospital in East Jerusalem, the statement added.
Shoubaki, from Toffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, was shot in the neck causing him paralysis and prompting his transfer to a hospital in Jerusalem, the statement pointed out.
The number of Palestinians killed by Israeli troops during the border protests has reached 140 since March 30. (end)
