Putin arrives in Finland to meet Trump

MOSCOW, July 16 (KUNA) -- The Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived on Monday in Helsinki, Finland, to hold a historical summit with his Russian counterpart Putin.
An individual meeting will be held for one hour and a half before the delegations of both countries would join in, the Russian TV reported today.
The meeting will take place at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki, with the attendance of the Finish President Sauli Niinisto.
The two Presidents are due to hold a press conference to discuss the results of their negotiations, while Russian media sources indication that there is not expectation of issuing a joint announcement of the summit.
Putin and Trump met for the first time in July last year in G20 summit held in Hamburg, and also in last November of the same year in Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation forum (APEC) Danang, Vietnam. (end) as.lb
