NEW DELHI, July 15 (KUNA) -- Indian authorities on Sunday said that seven people were killed and more than 25 others were injured following a landslide in Reasi district of north Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Indo Asian News Agency quoted local police sources that a huge rock came down and crushed people who were bathing under a waterfall in Sehar Baba area in the district resulting in the killing of seven and injuring 25 others.
A joint team of army and police supported by the local residents are carrying out rescue and relief operation while some of the injured have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. (end)
