France arrests 10 far-rightists for planning attacks against Muslims

PARIS, June 24 (KUNA) -- French police has detained ten suspects on charges of planning to carry out terror attacks on Muslims in the country.
A judicial source told French local media Sunday, that anti-terror squads apprehended on Saturday a gang of ten rightist radicals from different parts in the country for planning violent assaults on the Muslims in France.
Their list of targets include Muslim Imams, hijab-donning women and former detainees, the source stated.
The source unveiled that the suspected gang leader was a retired police officer. (end) mjz.ibi
