Thrilling 2-2 draw between Japan, Senegal

KUWAIT, June 24 (KUNA) -- Senegal ends up drawing against Japan after being in the lead twice during the 90 minutes today at the Ekaterinburg Arena, in the second stage of matches of Group H.
The Senegalese team started off dangerous to score an early goal in the 11th minute Japanese defense poor ball clearance to give the captain Sadio Mane a shooting chance to score the lead for Senegal.
In spite of a dominating possession by Senegal, Japan out of nowhere leveled the score at the 24th minute as Takashi Inui curled the ball into the far corner.
Moussa Wague puts Senegal back in the lead in the 71st minute, after a spectacular set up by Youssouf Sabaly from the left side to Wague in the far right rifling it into the goal.
Keisuke Honda rescues Japan with an equaliser shortly after being substituted in, scoring in the 78th minute to level the score 2-2.
