Jordanian King Abdullah II meets with US Undersecretary of Defense for Policy John Rood and Commander of the US Central Command Joseph Votel
AMMAN, June 20 (KUNA) -- Jordanian King Abdullah II held talks on Wednesday with senior US military officials, focusing on current developments in the region, as well as bilateral ties.
The Jordanian monarch's meeting with US Undersecretary of Defense for Policy John Rood and Commander of the US Central Command Joseph Votel touched on ongoing conflicts around the region and the war against terror, read a statement by the Royal Hashemite Court.
It added that the officials also examined strategies for closer ties in the defense sector. (end)
