Kuwait oil price up 87 cents to USD 70.82 pb

KUWAIT, June 20 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwait oil went up 87 cents to USD 70.82 per barrel (pb) Tuesday after being at USD 69.95 pb the day before, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Wednesday.
At the global level, prices went up after the American Petroleum Institute announcing a drop in commercial crude stocks by three million barrels last week.
The future contracts of the Brent Blend went up by 22 cents to USD 75.30 pb, same as the contracts of the West Texas Intermediate, which went up 27 cents to USD 65.34 pb. (end) mam.gaa
