First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah back in Kuwait from anti-IS talks in Brussels
KUWAIT, June 9 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah arrived home on Saturday after a visit to Brussels where he attended ministerial counter Islamic State global coalition talks.
During the talks held at the NATO HQ, the defence minister had underlined that tackling terrorist and fundamentalist ideologies was just as crucial to the fight on terror as the military aspect.
Receiving him at Kuwait International Airport, was Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces Lt Gen Mohammad Al-Khodhor and the Defence Ministry's Undersecretary Sheikh Ahmad Mansour Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. (end)
