MOSCOW, May 29 (KUNA) -- Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Russia Abdulaziz Al-Adwani discussed with deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Vershinin ways of cooperation at the United Nations Security Council, with an emphasis on the developments in Syria.
Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the two men also discussed bilateral cooperation in the United Security Council, in which the State of Kuwait is a non-permanent member.
Kuwait won in June 2017 membership of the UNSC for 2018-2019 after obtaining 188 out of 192 votes at the UN General Assembly.(end).
