One person killed, 10 others wounded in blast in Diyala

BAGHDAD, May 29 (KUNA) -- A bomb exploded Tuesday in Diyala province, northeast of Baghdad, killing one person and injuring 10 others, police said.
A police source told KUNA that the blast occurred near a shop in a commercial market in Baquba, the largest city in Diyala province.
The explosion killed one person and wounded 10 others, who were taken to hospital for treatment, it added.
There has been relatively stable security since the end of the military presence of the so-called Islamic State in the country about a year ago.(end).
