French PM cancels his visit to Israel

PARIS, May 23 (KUNA) -- Prime Minister of France Edouard Philippe cancelled his planned trip to Israel and Palestine, which was scheduled to begin on May 31.
The Prime Minister office stated that Philippe cancelled his visit due to his work about issues related to government actions these coming days.
Philippe had been expected meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for an event promoting ties between France and Israel and discuses the nuclear deal with Iran, which is staunchly opposed by Israel.(end) mjz.mah
