France: US Policy against Iran will increase tension in ME

PARIS, May 23 (KUNA) -- French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian affirmed Wednesday that the United States policy against Iran would increase instability in the Middle East.
He told French media that more sanctions against Iran would not facilitate dialogue, indicating that such steps would empower conservatives in Iran and weaken President Hassan Rouhani who wants to negotiate.
