Kuwait Central Bank issues six-month bonds, Tawarruq worth KD 240 mln

KUWAIT, May 21 (KUNA) -- The Central Bank of Kuwait said Monday it issued 240 million Kuwaiti Dinars (KD) (USD 792 million) worth of bonds and related Tawarruq.
The Bank said in a statement to KUNA the issue would be for six month with a return rate of 2.375 percent.
The CBK last issue of bonds and Tawarruq was on May 14 with a value of KD 160 million (USD 528 million) for three months. (end) km.bs
