WASHINGTON, May 19 (KUNA) -- First Lady Melania Trump returned home following a kidney procedure, the White House confirmed on Saturday.
The First Lady is resting comfortably and "remains in high spirits," since returning home Saturday morning, the White House said in a statement.
Trump had been hospitalized at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington since undergoing a kidney embolization procedure on Monday.
She had reportedly been experiencing kidney problems that the White House described as benign but requiring treatment.
She is the First Lady to undergo such a serious medical procedure while in the White House since Nancy Reagan had a mastectomy in 1987. (end)
