21-year-old wounded Palestinian dies

GAZA, May 19 (KUNA) -- A 21-year-old Palestinian who was wounded during recent protests on Gaza demarcation lines passed away, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Saturday.
Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, the ministry spokesman, said in a press release that Ahmad Abu Samra succumbed to his injuries at Al-Shifaa Hospital.
The martyr was wounded during confrontations with Israeli troops east of Jibalaya on Monday.
His demise brings number of Palestinian martyrs since the Palestinian started, on March 30, staging wide-scale demonstrations marking their 70-year ordeal and decrying Washington's transfer of its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. (end) wib.rk
