KUWAIT, May 17 (KUNA) -- Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah headed Thursday to Cairo to attend the Arab League emergency meeting at the level of Foreign Ministers to counter the illegal decision taken by the United States to transfer its embassy to Jerusalem.
The meeting comes upon the request of Saudi Arabia; current chair of the League Summit.
The delegation accompanying Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled includes his office director; Assistant Foreign Minister Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, in addition to Ambassador Aziz Al-Daihani; Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab affairs and Ambassador Ahmad Al-Bakir; Kuwait's permanent representative to the Arab League.
