Unstable weather conditions causing low visibility in some areas in Kuwait
KUWAIT, May 8 (KUNA) -- The unstable weather conditions sweeping Kuwait now might lead to a probable dust storm in the upcoming hours, said Kuwait Meteorological Center on Tuesday.
Official at the center Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi told KUNA that due to active winds at speeds of 20 to 70 km/h, horizontal vision would reach less than 500 meters in some areas.
The state of the sea will witness waves over eight feet, said Al-Qarawi, adding that those at sea should be aware of possible thunderstorms and roughed conditions.
Highest temperatures will reach between 36 and 39 degrees Celsius while the lowest temperature will be at 27 and 30 degrees Celsius, said the official who indicated that weather conditions might improve by tomorrow's afternoon. (end)
