Kuwait has investment-friendly environment - Abm. Al-Hamad

KUWAIT, April 30 (KUNA) -- State of Kuwait has a good investment-friendly environment, and Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) provided laws and legislations that attracted international companies, a senior diplomat said Monday.
The Foreign Ministry's Economy Department is operating within a roadmap alongside government institutions to facilitate cooperation with international companies wishing to work in Kuwait, Amal Al-Hamad, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs, said.
She was speaking to reporters on fringes of a reception held by the Dutch Embassy to mark the King's birthday.
Al-Hamad hoped Dutch companies contribute to development projects within the 2035 New Kuwait Vision.
She said Kuwait's investment in the Netherlands exceeded USD eight billion, mostly in the oil sector.
Al-Hamad said economic, cultural and political relations with Netherlands were "deep and historic." (end) nmo.bs
